Branches

DGPS Gandhinagar Office having mainly 9 branches stated as below:

  1. Administrative
    • Keeps Personnel Information
    • Carries H-R Related activities
    • Make Administrative policy for the DGPS

  2. Registry
    • Inward and outward Letters
    • To Maintain the records of the Office

  3. Stationery
    • Identify the needs of the stationery in particular department
    • Identify need of copies comparing with the available stock
    • If more items required then collect it from the help of the account
    • Stationery stores working under Asst. Director stationery and they supply total 24 stationery items to 995 offices of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Sachivalaya and Rajbhavan

  4. Account
    • Pay-roll activities of the employees
    • Other Financial activities

  5. Audit
    • Internal Auditing activities for the DGPS itself for five Govt. Presses.

  6. Printing
    • Coordination with the different printing press located at different places in Gujarat
    • Distribution of printing work to Govt. Press by quality and quantity of work.
    • To prepare the indents of papers and machineries and send to DPC Branch to purchase concern items.
    • To maintain the Raw Material and paper stocks for presses and purchase of paper and other items under Rate Contract.

  7. Scrutiny
    • Checking of production Data of Govt. Presses and vigilance of Govt. Presses.
    • Maintain the workload in Govt. Presses.

  8. Planning
    • Supply of Fax, Digital Copier machines to all ministers’ offices including Chief Minister and governor’s office.
    • Maintenance of above machines and to provide consumables for these machines.
    • Apprentice Scheme in Govt. Presses monitoring by this Department. Sanctioned posts of apprentice in various Trades are as under.
  9. Purchase
    • Main activity of this branch is to purchase the necessary items for Govt. Presses & Stationery Depots under D.P.C. / S.P.C. or S.D.P.C. For Tender enquiry click on www.nprocure.com
